They do great things for our immediate community and we are proud to be the home of so many great NPOs in RVA. It's a wonderful relationship: we provide them with a top-notch workspace because they are doing top-notch work! A great example of this relationship is VAEEC, and guess what, they're having a party! The [Virginia Energy Efficiency Council](https://vaeec.org/) is partnering with Richmond Green Drinks this September 20 for a fun happy hour event at Postbellum and, weather permitting, they'll all be mixing and mingling on the venue's rooftop patio bar. Not only will it be a great way to learn more about VAEEC, the voice for the energy efficiency industry in the Commonwealth, it will also be a great way to meet like-minded people and organizations. Furthermore VAEEC will be there promoting their upcoming [fall meeting and awards ceremony](https://vaeec.org/fall-2018-meeting-and-awards-ceremony/) on Nov. 14. An awards ceremony for which *you* or *your organization* might qualify if you're making great strides in energy efficiency. ![](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/cropped-virginia-energy-efficiency-council-vaeec_small-1.jpg?width=229&height=122&name=cropped-virginia-energy-efficiency-council-vaeec_small-1.jpg)![](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/RVA-Green-Drinks-e1517426851333.jpg?width=230&height=128&name=RVA-Green-Drinks-e1517426851333.jpg) To learn more about VAEEC’s goals to promote energy efficiency in VA today and in the future, check this Facebook event link [here](https://www.facebook.com/events/417716222060793/), click that link and hit that "going" button! From their [about](https://vaeec.org/about/) page: *The Virginia Energy Efficiency Council is a 501c3 organization that provides a platform for stakeholder engagement while assessing and supporting programs, innovation, best practices, and policies that advance energy efficiency in Virginia.* *Through our programs, member network, and events we:* - *Engage stakeholders to identify barriers and opportunities to energy efficiency as a resource in Virginia* - *Develop a strong, fact-based and balanced industry voice before local, state and national policymakers and regulators* - *Inform our members of events, legislation and regulation at the local, state and national level that affects their businesses* - *Provide networking, outreach, and business services for our state’s energy efficiency industry and the public at large* We'd like to personally thank VAEEC for what they're doing to promote and advance energy efficiency in the Commonwealth, and we'd like to thank *you*, the reader, for your interest in such incredible organizations that make Gather the place that it is!   ![unnamed (1)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/unnamed-1.png?width=677&height=547&name=unnamed-1.png) Thanks, VAEEC!   ## We believe. Coworking is more than coffee and connected space. It's the people. It's the possibilities. It's about your productivity, your goals, your future.   ## It's time to belong here. Think here. Create here. Flourish here. Surround yourself with opportunity. Do working differently. **Gather here.** ### Get new blogs by email ### Recent Posts ### Posts by Tag - [Coworking (56)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/coworking) - [Office Space (45)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/office-space) - [Gather Blog (29)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/gather-blog) - [Gather (25)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/gather) - [RIchmond, VA (19)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/richmond-va) - [Remote Work (15)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/remote-work) - [Flexible Workspace (13)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/flexible-workspace) - [Business Corner (10)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/business-corner) - [Employee Productivity (10)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/employee-productivity) - [Hampton Roads (9)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/hampton-roads) - [Insider (8)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/insider) - [Freelancing (7)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/freelancing) - [Working From Home (7)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/working-from-home) - [Workspace Solutions (7)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/workspace-solutions) - [Company Culture (6)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/company-culture) - [Community (5)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/community) - [Member Highlight (5)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/member-highlight) - [Shared Space (4)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/shared-space) - [Workspace (4)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/workspace) - [Flexible Membership (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/flexible-membership) - [LGBTQ (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/lgbtq) - [Newport News, VA (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/newport-news-va) - [Norfolk, VA (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/norfolk-va) - [Office Design (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/office-design) - [Pride Month (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/pride-month) - [Shared Office Space (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/shared-office-space) - [Traditional Office Space (3)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/traditional-office-space) - [COVID-19 (2)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/covid-19) - [Coworking Amenities (2)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/coworking-amenities) - [Self-Checkout (2)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/self-checkout) - [24/7 Access (1)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/24-7-access) - [FAQs (1)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/faqs) - [Finance (1)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/finance) - [Frequently Asked Questions (1)](https://go.gatherworkspaces.com/blog/tag/frequently-asked-questions) - [Gov.
